Simon Rex and Natalie Lind to headline campy horror comedy, Halloween Store

A new campy horror comedy, titled Halloween Store, is all set to star Simon Rex and Natalie Lind in lead roles. Set on the night of Halloween, the film will see how a bunch of people try to escape from a costume store with a mysterious murderer on the loose.

Shane Dax Taylor, who has previously helmed Murder Company, is the director of Halloween Store. Kenan Thompson and John Ryan Jr will serve as executive producers under their Artists for Artists banner. Other executive producers are Steven Schneider, Taylor, John Lind, and Bradley Sloan. The film will be produced by Natalie Lind, Kenneth Burke, and Audrey Romanyuk under the AFA, Big Bad Pig Productions, and Racer Entertainment banners.

Also known as Dirt Nasty, Simon Rex is a rapper and actor who is known for starring in What I Like About You, three films of the Scary Movie franchise, and Hotel California. In the pipeline, Rex has Easy Waltz, Everything's Going To Be Great, Tow, and The Prince.

Last seen in Marked Men: Rule + Shaw, Lind started her acting career as a child artist in series such as One Tree Hill, iCarly, and Army Wives. She is known for her television series appearances, such as her recurring roles as Dana Caldwell in The Goldbergs and Silver St. Cloud in Gotham. She is also known for her starring role as Lauren Strucker in Fox's The Gifted.
