Actor Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness have completed divorce formalities after the latter took the legal route to put a legal end to their marital relationship, reports E! News. The couple has been in an estranged relationship since 2023 after Furness separated from her husband and filed a petition for the same. In the petition, Furness mentioned that she and Jackman mutually agreed upon the divorce terms. Elena Karabatos, Furness' attorney filed documentation seeking continual healthcare coverage for her, as well as a medical child support order, as per Daily Mail. Karabatos also completed a child support registry form from the state of New York, a divorce judgement, and the certificate of dissolution.

Jackman and Furness got hitched in 1996 on the production set of a TV series in Australia. As they disclosed their separation a couple of years ago, the couple revealed that the decision stemmed from their ambition to pursue growth each on their own. "We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth," they told People Magazine at the time.

Jackman has been dating Sutton Foster, his co-actor on Broadway, since January this year. Jackman confirmed the same following prolonged speculation about his relationship.
