The lead stars of the 1994 film Interview with the Vampire, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise have met following 24 years during the European premiere of the former's upcoming sports-based actioner F1. Sharing pictures with the film's cast and crew on Instagram, Cruise wrote, "Great night at the movies with my friends!! You guys crushed it!!"
The meeting comes hot on the heels of Brad Pitt expressing his desire to work with Tom Cruise again after Interview with the Vampire. In a recent interview with E! News, Pitt said that he would think about the project provided that it does not have dangerous action sequences involving aeroplanes, such as those in Cruise's Mission: Impossible films.
Directed by Cruise's Top Gun: Maverick filmmaker Joseph Kosinski, F1 stars Pitt as a former Formula One driver who comes back to the field as a coach for a rookie (Damson Idris). The film also stars Kerry Condon, Kim Bodnia, Tobias Menzies, Javier Bardem, and Shea Whigham, among others. F1 is set to hit theatres this Friday.
Brad Pitt also stars in a Cliff Booth film with director David Fincher and screenwriter Quentin Tarantino. On the other hand, Tom Cruise stars in one film with director Alejandro G Inarritu and another with Doug Liman.
