Regina Hall is joining the cast of Peacock's new series, The Five-Star Weekend, reported Variety. The drama series stars Jennifer Garner in the lead.

Based on Elin Hilderbrand's 2023 novel The Five-Star Weekend, the story of the series follows a food blogger, Hollis Shaw, who has a perfect life with a beautiful house in Nantucket, Massachusetts, USA, and a heart surgeon husband. After her husband dies in a car accident, the cracks in the image of her perfect life are revealed. She is bringing four of her friends to spend a weekend at her home in Nantucket for a special weekend.

Garner plays food blogger Hollis Shaw in The Five-Star Weekend, with Hall as Dru-Ann, Hollis' college roommate, who is a successful sportscaster dealing with her own public scandal.

The Five-Star Weekend is created by Bekah Brunstetter and is written by Beth Schacter. Schacter serves as an executive producer with author Hilderbrand, Sue Neagle, and Ali Krug.
