Prime Video has released key art and the official trailer for its upcoming action-drama series, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf. It serves as a prequel to the 2022 series The Terminal List. The trailer for Dark Wolf previews the journey of Ben Edwards (Taylor Kitsch) as he turns from a Navy SEAL into a CIA operative. The series is based on the novel The Terminal List by Jack Carr, who also serves as a co-creator alongside showrunner David DiGilio. The Terminal List: Dark Wolf explores Edwards’s origin story, tracing his path from the SEALs to CIA Special Operations. Described as an espionage thriller, the series stars Chris Pratt, who reprises his role as James Reece from The Terminal List.

The series will premiere its first three episodes on Prime Video on August 27, Wednesday, and it will be available in over 240 nations and territories. New episodes will drop once per week on Prime Video, with the season finale scheduled for September 24, Wednesday.

According to a press release, military veterans also contributed to the production as writers, technical advisors, executive producers, and actors. Additional cast members include Tom Hopper, Robert Wisdom, Luke Hemsworth, Dar Salim, Rona-Lee Shimon, Shiraz Tzarfati, and Jared Shaw, among others.

Taylor Kitsch and Chris Pratt are among the series’ executive producers. Other executive producers include DiGilio, Carr, Antoine Fuqua, and Frederick EO Toye. Amazon MGM Studios is among the producers of the series, alongside MRC and Civic Center Media.
