War of the Worlds will happen soon, as Prime Video reveals the release date for the upcoming film. The film will release on July 30, directly on Prime Video.

Based HG Wells' novel, the modern day adaptation follows a cyber security analyst for the US Government, Will Radford, who gets confronted about the truth of the surveillance program, and the secret it hides.Adam Sidman serves as an executive producer for War of the Worlds.

With Ice Cube as Will Radford, the rest of the cast of the film includes Eva Longoria, Clark Gregg, Andrea Savage, Henry Hunter Hall, Iman Benson, Devon Bostick and Michael O’Neill.

Rich Lee directs the film, which is written by Kenneth Golde and Marc Hyman. Timur Bekmambetov, one of the pioneers of the screenlife genre, is producing the film with Patrick Aiello.
