Andrew Garfield cheered for Sonay Kartal in her match versus Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova on Centre Court at Wimbledon on July 06, Sunday. Monica Barbaro sat beside Garfield as he supported fellow Brit Kartal. The two sported white outfits, in line with the long-standing Wimbledon tradition of players donning white clothing at the marquee tennis championship. Pictures of Garfield and Barbaro from the event have been circulating all over the internet since Sunday. Other celebrities attending the event include actor Tosin Cole.

Andrew Garfield is most popular for his supporting role in David Fincher's The Social Network and for playing Spider-Man in Marc Webb's franchise reboot from the early 2010s. On the other hand, Barbaro's best-known credits include Top Gun: Maverick and A Complete Unknown, where her portrayal of Joan Baez earned her a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination. Zoe Saldaña won the Oscar award for her performance in filmmaker Jacques Audiard's Emilia Pérez. However, Barbaro's portrayal of real-life singer Baez, opposite Timothée Chalamet in the Bob Dylan biopic, earned her critical acclaim.

Barbaro and Garfield are yet to collaborate on a film. However, there is speculation about them making their on-screen debut together in filmmaker Luca Guadagnino's next, reportedly titled Artificial and revolving around the termination and rehiring of Sam Altman as OpenAI's CEO.

Barbaro's upcoming projects include Bart Layton's heist film Crime 101, alongside Chris Hemsworth, Barry Keoghan, Mark Ruffalo, and Halle Berry. On the other hand, Garfield has Guadagnino's thriller After the Hunt with Julia Roberts and Ayo Edebiri as well as filmmaker Ben Gregor's The Magic Faraway Tree, along with Rebecca Ferguson, Nicola Coughlan, Nonso Anozie, and Claire Foy.
