The filming of Jackie Chan‘s upcoming film The Shadow’s Edge, directed by Larry Yang, has been completed. It went on floors last October in Macau. It is the second film between Chan and Yang, the first one being the 2023 film Ride On.

The Shadow’s Edge stars Chan as a former surveillance expert of the Macau Police Service, whom the Force hires again to aid an elite detective team in capturing some cunning thieves. As the cops and criminals face off, ancient tracking skills clash with the relentless advance of technology, which fuels a game of cat-and-mouse between them.

The cast also includes Zhang Zifeng, Ci Sha, and Wen Junhui, who is part of the K-pop group SEVENTEEN.

It also brings Chan back together with actor Tony Leung Ka Fai after the 2005 film The Myth. Leung also features in Legends of the Condor Heroes, the latest film by director Tsui Hark. On the other hand, Chan also has New Police Story 2 in the pipeline.
