They will portray Supergirl's parents. Bilquis Evely and Tom King's Supergirl book series inspired the film, which went on floors earlier this week at Leavesden in the UK. The film stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl. Gillespie is directing from an Ana Nogueira screenplay.
