Immediately after Blake Lively's sexual harassment allegations against her It Ends With Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni, the filmmaker's talent agency dropped him as a client. Subsequently, Baldoni claimed that Lively and her actor husband Ryan Reynolds forced the agency to make the decision against him. However, the agency has now come out with a statement in denial of Baldoni's claim. In his lawsuit, Baldoni claims that Reynolds approached his erstwhile agent to make the representative drop him at the premiere of Reynolds' film Deadpool and Wolverine. According to Baldoni, the star couple acted with an intention to ruin his life and career. However, through its statement, WME claimed that Baldoni's agent did not attend the premiere and neither Lively nor Reynolds pressured it to drop him.

As per Lively's initial accusations, Baldoni made lewd remarks against her and her co-stars on the sets of their romance drama It Ends With Us and even walked into her caravan while was breastfeeding.
