First look at He-Man in the Masters of the Universe live-action film

The makers of the Masters of the Universe live-action film released the first look of Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam/He-Man. The film is directed by Todd Black from a screenplay by Chris Butler. The photo shows Galitzine as Prince Adam, wielding the Power Sword.

Masters of the Universe is set to follow 10-year-old Prince Adam, who crash-lands on Earth and is separated from his Power Sword. After tracking it down, he takes on the mantle of He-Man as he battles for his home planet against the forces of Skeletor.

The cast for the film includes Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, Jared Leto as Skeletor, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Idris Elba Man-At-Arms, Sam C Wilson as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops, Morena Baccarin as Sorceress of Grayskull, Johannes Johannesson as Fisto, James Purefoy as King Randor, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena, Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man, Sasheer Zamata as Suzie, and Christian Vunipola as Hussein.

Masters of the Universe is set to release theatrically on June 5, 2026.
