According to reports, Captain America: Brave New World has become the third highest-grossing Captain America film, having minted $192 million at the global box office. In the US, the film has reportedly grossed $100 million, with the rest of the collection coming from international markets.

The Julius Onah directorial stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Harrison Ford as American President Thaddeus Ross/Red Hulk, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/Falcon, and Carl Lumbly as former Super Soldier/Captain America Isaiah Bradley. The plot follows a former scientist-turned-prisoner at a military facility (Tim Blake Nelson) coming back to settle an old score. When Japan declines to take part in a global peace treaty proposal from Ross, it leads to a situation of potential warfare between the nations, necessitating Wilson’s involvement.

An excerpt from CE's review reads, "The film frequently mines humour from its material to offer consistently engaging, albeit mild, entertainment."
