Earlier, we reported about John Malkovich and Mark Ruffalo joining Sam Rockwell in filmmaker Martin McDonagh's upcoming feature titled Wild Horse Nine. The latest from the project is that Parker Posey, best known for her roles in 1990s independent films, such as Party Girl and Flirt, has been added to the cast. The film reunites McDonagh with actor Rockwell after 2017's Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, and distributor Searchlight Pictures following 2022's The Banshees of Inisherin. It marks the first collaboration of McDonagh with Malkovich, Ruffalo, and Posey. Oscar Isaac and Christopher Walken were originally cast in the film, but they are no longer part of the project.

The makers are yet to disclose any details about the plot. Filming is scheduled to commence this March on Rapa Nui, also known as Easter Island, a remote Chilean territory renowned for its unique cultural heritage.

Posey's upcoming projects also include season 3 of The White Lotus, which is premiering on February 16, and the comedy film The Parenting, opposite Brian Cox and Lisa Kudrow.
