After the recent release You’re Cordially Invited, Will Ferrell stars in another comedy film from writer-director Nicholas Stoller for Amazon MGM Studios. As per a Deadline report, actor Zac Efron is all set to feature along with Ferrell in the film, which is yet to have a title. Efron is cast as a convict who is recently released from prison and holds a reality television courtroom hostage because he feels the judge (Ferrell) made an unreasonable ruling against him in the past.

Stoller and Ferrell also produce the film through Stoller Global Solutions and Gloria Sanchez Productions, respectively, alongside the latter banner's Alex Brown and Jessica Elbaum. The project brings Efron and Amazon MGM Studios back together after last year's Ricky Stanicky.

Efron recently completed filming for Jody Hill’s upcoming directorial, a thriller about celebrityhood titled Famous. In the film, adapted by Chad Hodge from Blake Crouch's novel of the same name, Efron plays a Hollywood star known as James Jansen and his overenthusiastic admirer named Lance Dunkquist.
