British actor Danny Dyer has been cast in a lead role in the thriller film Three Quick Breaths, according to a Variety report. Brendan Muldowney, the director of Pilgrimage and The Cellar, is helming the project, working from a Peter Howlett screenplay. Production on the film is underway in Ireland. The company that will distribute the film in the UK and Ireland, Vertigo Releasing has dropped a first-look image of Dyer's character from the production.

In the film, Dyer plays Jimmy Banks, a football agent who must have a star player participate in a massive match, with his life and his clientele’s reputation at stake. According to the official description, Three Quick Breaths is a “fast-paced, pressure cooker thriller” which “plunges into the seedy and exhilarating world of football agents who live for the big deals and will torch everything else down in pursuit of them.”

This project follows Dyer's recent appearance in the series Mr Bigstuff, where he stars alongside Ryan Sampson, and the Disney+ HotStar series Rivals.
