Hollywood continues to mourn the sudden passing of actor James Ransone, known for his roles in The Wire, The Black Phone, and It: Chapter Two. Channing Tatum is the latest to pay his tribute to Ransone. The other day, Tatum took to his Instagram Stories to honour his former co-star. The two worked together on director Dito Montiel’s 2011 crime thriller, The Son of No One.
“There ain’t words for these things," Tatum wrote while posting a photograph featuring him with the late actor. "But you my friend… was one of the realest. I remember being in every conversation with you and just always being like I wonder what he’s gonna say!!?? Lololol.”
Tatum ended his tribute bidding adieu to his co-star: "I love you PJ I’ll see you on the next one my G."
Earlier, directors Sean Baker and Spike Lee, as well as actor Chloe Sevigny, publicly expressed their grief over the loss of the actor at the age of 46 years.
The county medical examiner’s report confirmed that Ransone passed away last Friday in Los Angeles; the cause of death has been determined to be suicide by hanging.
James Ransone, known for his versatile performances in both independent cinema and major franchises, is survived by his wife, Jamie McPhee and their son.
