Actor Sadie Sink is best known for her role as Maxine "Max" Mayfield in Netflix's Stranger Things, created by The Duffer Brothers. After playing the role in four seasons of the show, the actor has come to a candid conclusion. In a recent conversation with Vanity Fair, Sink said that she might have the least knowledge of the lore in the series. "Not that I do not know, but I just know the least, probably, or I get the most confused," the actor said in response to a question about it.
Soon afterwards, Gaten Matarazzo, known for playing Dustin Henderson in Stranger Things, tried to come to Sink's rescue by saying that it is impossible to prove which actor has the least knowledge of the show unless all of them are asked simultaneously. "If the room was asked about lore questions, we wouldn't be able to prove," Matarazzo said.
Sink interjected Matarazzo and doubled down on her lack of knowledge of the show and attributed it to her not being in its first season. "So I've had less time in this universe. I can always recall, but I feel like my memory is often jogged, like I completely forgot about Russia," Sink said, referring to the plotline involving the USA's rival in the show.
Stranger Things finale's first volume released a few days ago to much positive appreciation. Three more episodes of the Stranger Things season 5 will drop on Netflix on Christmas, followed by the final one on New Year's Eve.
