A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms final trailer: An untested warrior seeks entry into the house of the dragon

Based on George RR Martin's novella series, Tales of Dunk and Egg, the series is set to premiere on JioHotstar on January 19, 2026

The final trailer for the latest Games of Thrones spinoff, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has been released by the makers. The series is set to premiere on JioHotstar on January 19, 2026.

It was also announced recently A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms was renewed for a second season which will premiere in 2027. The series is created by George RR Martin and Ira Parker, who have adapted Martin's Tales of Dunk and Egg for the series. Parker also serves as the showrunner. Martin and Parker serve as executive producers.

The cast for the series includes Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan “Dunk” the Tall, Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg, Daniel Ings as Ser Lyonel Baratheon, Bertie Carvel as Baelor Targaryen, Danny Webb as Ser Arlan of Pennytree, Sam Spruell as Maekar Targaryen, Shaun Thomas as Raymun Fossoway, Finn Bennett as Aerion Targaryen, Edward Ashley as Ser Steffon Fossoway, Tanzyn Crawford as Tanselle, Henry Ashton as Daeron Targaryen, Youssef Kerkour as Steely Pate, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor as Plummer and Daniel Monks as Ser Manfred Dondarrion.

The story of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms focuses on Ser Duncan the Tall who takes on a young squire, Egg, as the duo traverse through Westeros.

HBO also announced that the fourth season of House of the Dragon will premiere in 2028.
