Actor Anne Hathaway has created headlines again, this time for tumbling down the stairs. In a viral video, the star recently slipped from the stairs due to her heel of her shoe in the midst of the shoot for The Devil Wears Prada 2. The actor, however, bounced back and recovered gracefully, holding a bagel in her hand.

In an Instagram post, she shared a video of her recent fall, captioned with "witnessing the queen herself take a tumble like a champ," and also posted a scene from The Princess Diaries that shows her character, Mia Thermopolis, slipping on the school bleachers in a move that was unscripted but perfectly fitting for the film. "Twenty years later, still falling for you..." Hathaway captioned her post.

Back in 2020, Hathaway opened up on the incident that had become one of Hollywood's iconic moments. "I turned really fast, slipped on a puddle, and just I mean fell. I mean, just absolutely fell, and burst out laughing and kept going with the scene. Never thought about it again," she said. "All of a sudden, like six months later, it's in the trailer ... He kept it because it was a charming moment," she added of director Marshall.

The original The Devil Wears Prada (2006), considered a cult classic among fans and a mirror to the cutthroat fashion world, saw Andrea Sachs (Hathaway) rediscovering herself after building herself a notable name at Runway magazine headed by the fiercely sharp-tongued Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep). The new film opens at a time when media has undergone vast changes -- notably the decline of the print medium. The tables have turned and Emily is now at a powerful position in the industry and Miranda finds herself in loggerheads with her former assistant as she controls the the advertising budget Miranda urgently requires.

The newcomers for the sequel include Kenneth Branagh, set to play Miranda’s husband, as well as Lucy Liu, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, BJ Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Rachel Bloom and Patrick Brammal in undisclosed roles. Broadway talents Helen J Shen and Conrad Ricamora, along with comedian Caleb Hearon, will also feature in the sequel. Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman reprise their roles as Lily, Andy’s best friend, and the chairman of Runway’s parent company, respectively.
