Will Ferrell, Natalie Portman, and Mark Ruffalo join the voice cast of Arco

The English version of Arco will premiere in the Centrepiece section of the Toronto Film Festival on September 7, after which it will get a US release on November 14

Film production and distribution company Neon has announced the English voice cast for Arco, the French animated movie that won both the Cristal Award for Best Feature Film and the Soundtrack Award at Annecy.

The film, which will be submitted for the Oscars, includes Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Natalie Portman, Mark Ruffalo, Flea, and Andy Samberg.

Arco follows a 10-year-old who travels back to the year 2075 from his relatively peaceful and safe future. He teams up with a young girl, Iris, who he befriends to return to his home, but they are also the only hope to rescue the planet.      

The English version of Arco will premiere in the Centrepiece section of the Toronto Film Festival on September 7, after which it will get a US release on November 14.

The film marks the feature debut of Ugo Bienvenu, who also produces it with Portman, Sophie Mas, and Felix de Givry.
