Good Boy Trailer: Through the eyes of a canine something supernatural unfolds

Good Boy is director Ben Leonberg's directorial debut and had its premiere at the South By Southwest Festival this year

In a year of horror stories told from different perspectives of different protagonists, the upcoming horror flick, Good Boy, tells a story through the eyes of a dog. The trailer for the film has been released by the makers.

Good Boy premiered at the South by Southwest Festival, this year, where it won a 'Howl of Fame' award for Best Canine Performance, for its lead actor Indy. The film is director Ben Leonberg's directorial debut, and has a script written by Leonberg and Alex Cannon.

Leonberg also produces the film along with Kari Fischer with Brian Goodheart serving as a co-producer. Independent Film Company is backing Good Boy. While the film is set to release in the US on October 3, an Indian theatrical release date is yet to be announced.

The film's cast also includes Larry Fessenden, Arielle Friedman, Shane Jensen, Anya Krawcheck, and Stuart Rudin.

The story of Good Boy follows a loyal dog, that moves to a rural family home with his owner Todd, only to discover supernatural entities in the shadows. As dark forces threaten Tood, the dog must fight to protect the one he loves most.
