As the filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings on, star Tom Holland once again took to Instagram and shared a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video from the first day of shooting the film. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently filming in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom.

The video, which is a montage of short clips from the first day, has Holland speaking through a voiceover. He said, "It's funny putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow. It's also the first time we've had fans on set for day one. So it's really exciting to share this with them."

Potentially hinting at a return of a character from the previous films Holland said, "We've got some familiar faces on set. But you know, I'm just going to do my best to get it right. No pressure."

The video also featured director Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously directed Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will mark Holland's return to films alongside his work on Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey. His last film venture was Uncharted (2022), an adaptation of the video game of the same name. He starred as Nathan Drake, alongside Mark Wahlberg who starred as "Sully" Sullivan. In The Odyssey, Holland will essay the role of Telemachus, the son of Odysseus, the greek hero whose voyage to Ithaca forms the story of the film. Matt Damon, a recurring collaborator of Nolan's, will play Odysseus.

The rest of the cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day includes Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher, Michael Mando as Scorpion, with Sadie Sink, whose role in the film is yet to be revealed.
