House of the Dragon season 3 adds more to its cast

The series is a spinoff on the hit HBO show Game of Thrones

The third season of House of the Dragon has added Tom Cullen, Joplin Sibtain, and Barry Sloane, reports Variety. The series is based on Fire and Blood by George RR Martin.

The second season of the series followed the Greens and the Blacks as they furthered their struggle for control over the Iron Throne of Westeros. The second season also saw the rise of more dragons that help spread the flames of war.

In the third season, Cullen is set to play Ser Luthor Largent, Sibtain will portray Ser "Bold" Jon Roxton, and Sloane will play Ser Adrian Redfort.

From the main cast, Matt Smith, Emma D'Arcy, Rhys Ifans, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, Tom Glynn-Carney, Ewan Mitchell, Phia Saban, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Pheobe Campbell, Jefferson Hall, Tom Bennett, Freddie Fox, Matthew Needham, Kieran Bew, Kurt Egyiawan, Clinton Liberty, Abubakar Salim, and Gayle Rankin are returning for the third season.

Author of the books, Martin created House of the Dragon with Ryan Condal, with Condal as a showrunner. They serve as executive producers with Melissa Bernstein, Kevin de la Noy, Vince Gerardis, Philippa Goslett, David Hancock, and Sara Hess. The directors for the third season are Clare Kilner, Nina Lopez-Corrado, Andrij Parekh, and Loni Peristere.

Season three of House of the Dragon is currently under production.
