Michael Keaton has joined the cast of the Robert De Niro-led The Whisper Man, reports Deadline. The project comes from Netflix and the Russo Brothers' AGBO.

The Whisper Man follows the story of a widowed crime writer who takes the help of his father, a retired police detective, as he finds a connection with the decades-old case of a convicted serial killer when his 8-year-old son is kidnapped.

With Robert De Niro, the cast of The Whisper Man includes Michelle Monaghan, Adam Scott, Acston Luca Porto, Owen Teague, Hamish Linklater, and John Carroll Lynch.

The Whisper Man is directed by James Ashcroft, with Ben Jacoby and Chase Palmer adapting the script. Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Michael Disco will produce for AGBO, with Kassee Whiting and Marcus Viscidi serving as executive producers for AGBO.
