Sophie Okonedo, Katherine Mallen Kupferer and Chloe Coleman star in Mouse

Actors Sophie Okonedo, Katherine Mallen Kupferer, and Chloe Coleman have starred in Mouse, directed by Ghostlight filmmaking duo Alex Thompson and Kelly O'Sullivan.

The duo is known for helming the critically acclaimed film Ghostlight. The film is about best friends Minnie (Katherine) and Callie (Chloe Coleman), whose relationship gets derailed on the eve of their senior year.

The announcement of the three being part of the project is revealed by the makers following the completion of the production, which mostly took place in Arkansas' North Little Rock. Besides the three actors, the film also stars Tara Mallen, Iman Vellani, and David Hyde Pierce, with a host of newcomers including Beck Nolan, Addisyn Cain, Christopher R Ellis and Audrey Grace Marshall.

Kupferer has already collaborated with the duo in Ghostlight; also, her acting credits include Are You There God? It's Me Margaret. Okonedo is a Tony winner and an Oscar nominee who has starred in films such as Slow Horses and Hotel Rwanda. Coleman has featured in My Spy and Big Little Lies. Hyde Pierce is popular for her work in Frasier.

The film is produced under O'Sullivan and Thompson's banner Little Engine, Metropoliton Entertainment, Rosalind Productions and Runaway Train. Thompson, Chelsea Krant, Pierce Cravens, Bonnie Comely, Abigail Rose Solomon, Stewart Lane, Alex Wilsom, Steven A Jones and Ian Keiser serve as the producers.
