Independent rock artists and husband-and-wife Jillie Simon and Thomas Simon have officially commenced the production of their feature debut, Real, True, 100 Percent Love, in Romania's capital, Bucharest. The film is produced by The Mise En Scene Company.

Billed as a romantic spy comedy, the film follows an activist and lead singer, Elli DeCosta (Margarette Odette), who, after her boyfriend disappears mysteriously, gets into an international adventure involving Russian spies and the CIA. The film will also explore how she loses her voice and attempts to recover it when her boyfriend appears again.

The cast of the film includes Greg Kriek of Rebel Moon fame, Josh Cooke of Dexter fame, Marc Duret of Outlander fame, Nathan Sapsford of The Golden Age fame, and Jackie Hoffman of Glass Onion fame.

The film is said to uniquely blend musical espionage elements that also involve Grammy-winning musician Larry Mitchell and European rock band Kumm.

Real, True, 100 Percent Love is produced by One Hundred Percent Love and Romania's Libra Film.
