The trailer for Tyler Perry's drama series, Beauty in Black, was unveiled on Tuesday. The series stars Crystle Stewart and Taylor Polidore Williams in lead roles.

The trailer shows Kimmie (Williams) as a stripper who crosses paths with the dysfunctional family behind a cosmetics brand. She also discovers a tracking scam, and how that changes her life forms the crux of the drama series.

The official synopsis of Beauty in Black reads, "A stripper's fate takes a turn when she crosses paths with the wealthy, dysfunctional family behind a cosmetics dynasty and a devious trafficking scheme."

Beauty in Black also stars Amber Reign Smith, Ricco Ross, Debbi Morgan, Richard Lawson, Steven G Norfleet, Julian Horton, and Terrell Carter among others.

With a total of 16 episodes, Beauty in Black's first eight episodes will premiere on Netflix on October 24.
