After Greta Lee, Malachi Beasley and Aminah Nieves are the latest to join Kathryn Bigelow's upcoming Netflix film. They will be joining the film's leads Idris Elba and Rebecca Ferguson, along with actors Gabriel Basso, Jared Harris, Tracy Letts and Moses Ingram. 

The title plot details as well as details regarding the characters played by the actors, are kept under wraps. However, reports suggest that the plot is set to centre at the White House as a national crisis unfolds.

This film marks Bigelow's first feature for Netflix since the acclaimed 2017 thriller Detroit. Bigelow is a powerhouse director, known for award-winning films like Zero Dark Thirty and The Hurt Locker.

Beasley is a recent graduate of the Yale School of Drama. This film with Bigelow marks his debut on-screen performance. Nieves, on the other hand, is known for her performance in 1923, the Yellowstone prequel. The actor, who has also starred in V/H/S/99, was named as one of BAFTA’s Breakthrough Talents in 2023.
