Adria Arjona's representatives are in final talks with the makers of Onslaught for a role for the actor in the film, besides her serving as an executive producer. According to reports, she will portray the role of a mother who reverts to a specific skill set to keep her loved ones safe when she gets into conflict with a threat fresh out of a military base. Adam Wingard, best known for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, is attached to direct the project, which will go on floors later this year in New Mexico. It will reunite Wingard with Simon Barrett after The Guest and You're Next.

Wingard and Barrett will also produce the film through their organisation Breakaway Civilization, alongside Jeremy Platt, Andrew Swett and Aaron Ryder of Ryder Picture Company, A24, and Alexander Black of Lyrical Media.

The makers of Onslaught are yet to reveal additional cast and plot details, but the film is reportedly a blend of action, thriller, and horror.

Best known for her role in the Netflix film Hit Man, alongside Glen Powell, Adria Arjona's upcoming projects also include the independent drama Los Frikis.
