Live-action adaptation of 'Watch Dogs' wraps production, cast announced

The film is based on the video game of the same name

A live-action film based on the popular video game 'Watch Dogs' has wrapped production, according to Deadline. The film will star Markella Kavenagh, Tom Blyth and Sophie Wilde in the lead roles and be produced by Regency Enterprises and Ubisoft Film & Television.

Kavenagh was recently seen in the Prime Video Lord of the Rings series, The Rings of Power, as the Harfoot Nori Brandyfoot. Wilde is best known for the 2022 horror film Talk to Me, while Blyth is known for playing Coriolanus Snow in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023).

The video games are published by Ubisoft and focus on an open world where the player can complete missions to progress an overall story as well as engage in various side activities. Further details about the film are awaited.
