Marvel and Sony Pictures on Thursday released the latest trailer for the third installment of the Venom franchise, Venom 3: The Last Dance. A continuation of Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the upcoming third part is directed by Kelly Marcel, who has written the scripts for the previous parts.

The films star Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, who, along with his alien symbiote Venom, is on the run. It is the fifth installment of Sony's Spider-Man Universe, following the first two Venom films, Morbius, and Madame Web. The Last Dance is also said to be the final Venom film, even though Hardy's character was teased in the mid-credit scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The filming for Venom: The Last Dance was halted during the SAG-AFTRA strikes and was restarted only in late November. The film is backed by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal and Hutch Parker. It will hit theatres on October 25, and will also release in 3D and IMAX 3D in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
