Hold Your Breath: A mother's struggle to protect her girls from the evil

The trailer for Hold Your Breath, the upcoming psychological horror-thriller starring Sarah Paulson, was unveiled by Searchlight Pictures on Monday. Directed by Karrie Crouse and Will Joines the film is written by the former.

The trailer shows Paulson as a mother of two young girls in Oklahoma, who lives in the middle of an arid land with repeated dust storms. Convinced that some evil being from the dust storms is behind her children, she takes immense measures to protect them. 

The official description of Hold Your Breath reads, "In 1930s Oklahoma, a young mother haunted by the past becomes convinced that a mysterious presence in dust storms is threatening her family and takes extraordinary measures to protect them."

Apart from Paulson, Hold Your Breath also stars Amiah Miller, Annaleigh Ashford, Alona Jane Robbins, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, among others. The film is all set to premiere at the Torronto International Film Festival on September 12.

Produced by Mad Dog Films and Secret Engine and distributed by Searchlight Pictures, Hold Your Breath is all set to premiere on Hulu on October 3.
