Smile 2 Trailer: Death starts to smile at Naomi Scott's pop star

Smile 2 is slated for an October 18 release in theatres worldwide

Paramount Pictures has released another trailer for Smile 2, the sequel to 2022's horror film Smile. It stars Naomi Scott as a pop star who witnesses a man committing suicide and smiles at her as he dies. Writer and director Parker Finn returns to helm the film, following up on his 2022 horror hit. The official logline reads thus: "About to embark on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley (Naomi Scott) begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her dark past to regain control of her life before it spirals out of control."

The cast also includes Rosemarie DeWitt, Kyle Gallner, Dylan Gelula, Lukas Cage, Raul Castillo, and Miles Gutierrez-Riley.

Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey, and Isaac Klausner of Temple Hill Entertainment produced the film, alongside Robert Salerno and in association with Paramount Players. Smile 2 is slated for an October 18 release in theatres worldwide.
