Netflix announces premiere date for Keira Knightley's Black Doves 

The six-episode spy thriller series also stars Ben Whishaw and Sarah Lancashire

On Monday, Netflix announced the release date for Keira Knightley's six-episode spy thriller series, Black Doves. The streamer also unveiled a glimpse of the lead characters, Knightely, Ben Whishaw, and Sarah Lancashire. The series is all set to premiere on the streamer on December 5.

The official logline of Black Doves reads, "When a spy's secret lover is killed, an assassin is assigned to protect her life as she investigates the murder. Together they uncover a vast interconnected conspiracy that leads them to question the cost of their moral choices." 

Andrew Koji, Andrew Buchan, Omari Douglas, Kathryn Hunter, Sam Troughton, and Ella Lily Hyland, among others, form the supporting cast of the Black Doves

Created by Joe Barton, Black Doves is backed by Sister and Noisy Bear for Netflix. Jane Featherstone and Chris Fry have executive produced the series along with Barton. The series was announced in April 2023 and was shot in London.
