The trailer for Peacock's upcoming British television drama series, The Day of the Jackal, was unveiled on Wednesday. The series is an adaptation of Frederick Forsyth's novel of the same name. Eddie Redmayne and Lashana Lynch star in lead roles in this series directed by Brian Kirk.

But following his latest kill, he meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch) who starts to track down the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake."

Úrsula Corberó, Charles Dance, Richard Dormer, Chukwudi Iwuji, Lia Williams, Khalid Abdalla, Eleanor Matsuura, Jonjo O'Neill, and Sule Rimi, round out the cast of The Day of the Jackal. With a screenplay by  Ronan Bennett, the series will premiere on Peacock on November 7.
