Writer-director Michael Schilf is helming The Wolf and the Lamb, billed as a blend of thriller and folk horror, starring Cassandra Scerbo (Truth or Dare) and Adrianne Palicki (Friday Night Lights) in the lead roles. Production on the film, whose plot follows the westward expansions of the late 19th century, is underway in Montana. It stars Scerbo as a school teacher in search of her son (The Rookie star Jaydon Clark) after he goes missing. But he comes back as a monster.
The cast also includes Braveheart fame Angus Macfadyen and Hostile star Q’orianka Kilcher. Eric Nelsen, Sammi Rotibi, James Landry Hebert, Zach McGowan, Elias Kacavas, Clint Howard, Kevin Keppy, Mike Manning, Rob Nagle, Hanna Balicki, and William Rothlein round out the cast.
Scerbo's most popular credits include the Sharknado franchise, as well as the shows Grand Hotel and Guerrila. On the other hand, Palicki is also known for her work in the John Wick franchise, The Orville with Seth MacFarlane, and the Marvel series SHIELD.
