Claire McCarthy and Jett Tattersall are adapting Maggie Stiefvater's fantasy novel Shiver for a feature film. Earlier, the makers added Levi Miller and Maddie Ziegler as the lead cast. McCarthy has now roped in seven more actors to the Shiver cast: Sofia Wylie, Iman Vellani, Lyon Daniels, Alexander Ludwig, Alicia Witt, Ross Butler, and Greg Kinnear. Production on the film has begun in Vancouver.

Shiver revolves around Grace, a wolf attack victim in childhood who forges a friendship with one of the wolves that saved her. In her adulthood, Grace meets a man with the same eye colour as that wolf. The film tells their complex love story.

Producers include Addam Bramich of Simple House Films, Volodymyr Artemenko and Ryan Hamilton, Jeanette Volturno of CatchLight Studios, and Ziegler. Shiver is expected to be the maiden project in a franchise from Simple House Films, the label that is financed and developed it.
