Three new Arcane shows in development

The shows will be set in the regions of Noxus, Demacia, and Ionia from the League of Legends game universe

Arcane: League of Legends co-creator Christian Linke has confirmed that there are three more shows based on the eponymous video game in the pipeline. The shows will be set in the regions of Noxus, Demacia, and Ionia from the League of Legends universe. One of these shows, Linke said, has been in the making for around a year. The shows are expected to be based on the characters from the League of Legends game. However, Linke is yet reveal further details about the plot, cast, and crew for the shows.

Premiered on Netflix in 2021, Arcane is an animated sci-fi show set in the League of Legends universe of Riot Games. It focuses on two estranged sisters, based on the multiplayer game of the same name, and follows the events that turn them into League icons. The show ended with two seasons. The finale released earlier this year on Netflix wrapped the stories of some League of Legends-based characters while setting up the stage for further exploration of others.
