A new crime thriller Paper Tiger is in the works with actors Adam Driver, Jeremy Strong and Anne Hathaway headlining the project. The upcoming film is directed by James Gray, who is known for films such as We Own The Night, Ad Astra, and Little Odessa.

The narrative of Paper Tiger centers on two brothers chasing the American Dream, only to find themselves caught in a seemingly perfect scheme that spirals into a nightmare. As they grapple with the escalating threats of corruption and violence, they become targets of the Russian “Mafiya,” leading to brutal consequences for their family. Amidst the chaos, their once-unbreakable bond begins to weaken, and the idea of betrayal—previously unimaginable—starts to loom dangerously close. The filming for Paper Tiger will begin in the first quarter of 2025.

Driver, who is best known for his roles in Marriage Story, BlacKkKlansman and the TV series Girls, recently completed filming for Father, Mother, Sister, Brother, directed by Jim Jarmusch.

Strong is currently starring in Ali Abassi's drama The Apprentice and is currently filming for Scott Cooper’s upcoming Bruce Springsteen biopic, Deliver Me From Nowhere.

Hathaway most recently starred in The Idea of You. Her upcoming projects include Flowervale Street, Mother Mary and Princess Diaries 3 which are in different stages of production.
