Netflix unveiled the trailer for A Family Affair on Wednesday. Starring Joey King, Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron, the film is all set to premiere on June 28 on the streaming platform.

The trailer shows Zac Efron as a film star, and Joey King as his assistant of two years. When King's mother, played by Nicole Kidman, falls in love with Efron, the King is against it because she knows Efron to be selfish and self-centred. However, Kidman finds it difficult to distance herself from him, as she's not only her mother but also a woman.

A Family Affair is helmed by Richard LaGravenese who has previously helmed the heartwarming romantic film P.S. I Love You. The script for the film comes from Carrie Solomon. Liza Koshy, Kathy Bates and Shirley MacLaine round out the supporting cast of the film.

A Family Affair was initially scheduled to be released on November 17, 2023. However, the film's release was postponed due to the impact of the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike.
