The successful duo of director Numa Perrier and actor Keith Powers are reteaming for an independent family drama titled Trip.

This announcement comes fresh off winning the Audience Award for their recent Netflix outing, The Perfect Find, at Tribeca Film Festival. The Art in the Face of War fame David E Baugnon has been roped in as the film's screenwriter.

Perrier and Powers are joined by Everlast Pictures' Adonis Tountas, Uprising Global's Joshua Parham and Kristopher MacNeil to produce this indie feature. Nikko Tountas, James Leon, Mark Roling, Nic Bilbao, and Craig Armstrong will serve as the executive producers.

On the workfront, Keith Powers recently joined the cast of Emperor of Ocean Park with Forest Whitaker which premieres on July 14. Apart from The Perfect Find, he is in the cast of The New Edition Story, Tomorrow War, and Door Mouse.
