Following the casting of Miles Teller, Callum Turner, and Elizabeth Olsen in A24's rom-com Eternity, Da'Vine Joy Randolph has been added to the film's cast. The film marks the first collaboration between the Oscar Award-winning actor and A24.

Eternity is helmed by David Freyne, who is directing the film from a script by Pat Cunnane, which entered the 2022 edition of the Blacklist catalogue. Further details about the plot of the film are not yet known, but it is reportedly about people who have to decide whom to spend their eternity with.

A24 is financing and producing the rom-com film, along with Tim White and Trevor White under their banner Star Thrower Entertainment. Olsen and Teller are also executive producing the film. Eternity is expected to go on floors this Summer.

Randolph recently bagged the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for The Holdovers. Her popular film credits include Dolemite Is My Name and The Lost City. The actor has been nominated for her first Emmy award in the Guest Comedy Actress category for her stint as Detective Donna Williams in Hulu's Only Murders in the Building. Apart from Eternity, Randolph has Shadow Force, and Bride Hard in the pipeline.
