Phoebe Dynevor in talks to headline new shark thriller film

Directed by Tommy Wirkola the yet to be titled film comes from Sony Pictures

Actor Phoebe Dynevor is in talks to join the cast of an untitled shark thriller at Sony Pictures. The film is set to be helmed by the Norwegian director and writer, Tommy Wirkola, who is known for What Happened to Monday (2017) and Violent Knight (2022).

The plot and other specific details are still under wraps. Production is set to begin this summer in Australia with Adam McKay and Kevin Messick producing under their Hyperobject Industries banner.

Phoebe Dynevor is Best known for her role as Daphne Bridgerton in the first two seasons of Netflix's hit series Bridgerton. She was recently seen starring opposite Alden Ehrenreich in the 2023 thriller Fair Play for which she earned a BAFTA nomination. Up next she has InheritanceMore Flames, and Anniversary in the pipeline.

Tommy Wirkola is known for Dead Snow and its sequel Red vs DeadHansel & Gretel: Witch HuntersThe Trip, and Kill Bulijo: The Movie. Wirkola will be making his animation debut with the musical feature Spermageddon.
