Harry Lawtey to star in Mr Burton

The film is directed by Marc Evans from a script written by Tom Bullough and Josh Hyams

Actor Harry Lawtey, who is best known for the HBO series Industry, is set to star in an upcoming film titled Mr. Burton. The film also stars Toby Jones and Lesley Manville in the significant roles. 

Directed by Marc Evans from a script written by Tom Bullough and Josh Hyams, Mr Burton will tell the real story of the legendary actor Richard Burton and his relationship with his school teacher and mentor, who later became his adoptive father, Philip Burton. In the film, Lawtey plays young Burton, and Jones plays Philip. 

The film also stars Aimee-Ffion Edwards and Aneurin Barnard. Ed Talfan and Hannah Thomas will produce for Severn Screen, with Josh Hyams producing for Promise Pictures.

Besides Industry, Lawtey's other feature credits include You And Me and The Pale Blue Eye. It is worth mentioning that he will have a key role in the upcoming sequel, Joker: Folie A Deux
