Earlier, we reported that Paul Walter Hauser has joined Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson in Paramount Pictures's Naked Gun reboot. Danny Huston is the latest to join the reboot.

Neeson will be seen as Detective Frank Drebin, a goofy police detective. The film will revolve around his misadventures. Hauser will be seen as Captain Ed, Drebin's partner. The roles played by Anderson and Huston are yet to be disclosed.

With a release date slated for July 18, 2025, the new Naked Gun film is directed and executive produced by Akiva Schaffer with the draft script penned by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand.

The Naked Gun reboot will revive the absurd comedy franchise with a consolidated gross of over $216 million in The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! (1988), The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear (1991), and The Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult (1994). Originally, Leslie Nelson essayed Leeson's Drebin character, while George Kennedy portrayed Captain Ed.

Last seen in I Told You So, Huston has the superhero film The Crow and the epic Western film Horizon: An American Saga, in the pipeline.
