Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas have joined forces for an upcoming musical comedy titled Power Ballad. The film will be directed by John Carney, who has previously helmed musical comedies such as Begin Again, Sing Street and Flora and Son

Power Ballad is about the story of a wedding singer, played by Rudd and a rock star, essayed by Nick Jonas.Backed by 30WEST and Anthony Bregman's Likely Story, the film has a script Carney co-wrote with Peter McDonald. 

Meanwhile, Rudd-starrer Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is currently running in the theatres. His upcoming projects include Death of a Unicorn and Friendship. On the other hand, Jonas's popular acting credits include Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,Chaos Walking, Midway, and The Good Half.
