Actor Christian Convery is attached to the mysterious new film from the production house Bad Robot, with David Robert Mitchell to direct. He joins a lineup of actors that includes Maisy Stella, Anne Hathaway, and Ewan McGregor. Not much is known about the film project from Warner Bros. Pictures and JJ Abrams, but it is reportedly a family adventure feature. According to reports, Stella and Convery will appear in the film as McGregor and Hathaway's children.

Mitchell is attached to the Warner Bros. Pictures project as its writer and director. Abrams is producing it with Hannah Minghella of Bad Robot and Matt Jackson of Jackson Pictures. Chris Bender and Jake Weiner of Good Fear Content make up the executive production team.

The 14-year-old Convery has headlined Sweet Tooth, a dystopian science-fiction show that has run for two seasons so far. Netflix has already announced that Convery is returning for Sweet Tooth 3 as Gus. On the film front, Convery was recently seen in Cocaine Bear and is presently working on Guillermo Del Toro’s Frankenstein film.
