Babylon star Li Jun Li and Blindspotting star Ethan Embry have signed up for Alma and the Wolf, touted as a psychological horror-mystery film. Michael Patrick Jann of Drop Dead Gorgeous is directing the film, while Abigail Miller is writing it.

Embry is cast in Alma and the Wolf as a troubled cop, who must track down his missing son at the same time as he looks into a wolf attack situation. Actors such as Jeremie Harris, Lukas Jann, Kevin Allison, Mather Zickel, Beth Malone,  Dana Millican, and Alexandra Doke are also set to feature in the film.

Alma and the Wolf also reunites David Codron and Jann in a production capacity after Drop Dead Gorgeous and Western Organ Trail. On the other hand, Viviana Zarragoitia, David Gendron, and Ali Jazayeri are exec-producing the film through TPC.
