Michael B Jordan's film with Ryan Coogler gets a release date

In January, we reported that Ryan Coogler and Michael B Jordan were collaborating on a new project. According to the latest reports, the film will hit theatres on March 07, 2025, and will also be available in Imax format.

The makers are yet to announce the title of the film. Coogler's previous collaborations with Michael B Jordan include Creed and Black PantherHe is also producing the film under his Proximity Media banner, alongside Sev Ohanian and Zini Coogler. Composer Ludwig Goransson is serving as an executive producer in the film along with Will Greenfield and Rebecca Cho. Goransson's score for Blackpanther won an Oscar in 2019, and he also won an Academy Award in 2024 for Oppenheimer.

Warner Bros. got the rights to the film earlier this year, and Coogler also has partial rights to it. The director is reportedly planning to start production next month.
