Greta Gerwig, Isla Fisher and more join Noah Baumbach's film with George Clooney and Adam Sandler

The film is a coming-of-age comedy about adults

We previously reported that George Clooney, Adam Sandler, Laura Dern, Billy Crudup, and Riley Keough are all set to star in Noah Baumbach's next. The latest news is that Greta Gerwig, Isla Fisher, Patrick Wilson, and many more have come onboard the film's cast. 

The coming-of-age film about adults, will also star an ensemble comprising, Jim Broadbent, Jamie Demetriou, Lars Eidnger, Grace Edwards, Patsy Ferran, Isla Fisher, Thaddea Graham, Josh Hamilton, Eve Hewson, Stacy Keach, Nicôle Lecky, Louis Partridge, Alba Rohrwacher, Charlie Rowe, and Kyle Soller. 

The script of the untitled film is written by Emily Mortimer along with Baumbach, who is also producing alongside Amy Pascal and David Heyman. Currently, details regarding the plot are under wraps but Netflix has confirmed that the film is about adults and that it is a comedy. 

This is Baumbach's fourth film with Netflix, after The Meyerowitz Stories which also starred Sandler, Marriage Story and the recently released White Noise.

Gerwig and Baumbach have previously worked together in Frances Ha and Mistress America, which Gerwig co-wrote and starred in. She also appeared in Baumbach’s films Greenberg and White Noise. The upcoming film will also see Baumbach and Dern reuniting after their previous collaboration on Marriage Story, for which the latter won her first Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
